Pete still "at it" ...

My wife and I first met in Wel-Met as teenagers when we worked in Barryville ...
'65 ish. We loved the songs we sang en mass and in harmonies that resonate to this day.

Five days after the earthquake in Haiti we saw the living Pete Seeger (91 years old now) in Ossining, sing to raise money for the relief effort. The gathering of about one hundred people sang along with Pete as he requested. We sang some of the aging anthems that echoed in WM. Woody Guthrie's 'This Land is Your Land' was one of the evenings highlights. We were so happy to have experienced him - he is an amazing man.

Yes, brought back strong WM memories and memories of a different time.
