Looking For A Bunch of People - Wel-Met Camps Memories Forums

Hi Everyone,

I just found this site and boy does it bring back memories of the happiest times. I have not been in touch with anyone since "then".

I am wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of the following people:

Avram Nathanson: He was a unit director when I was a counselor in unit #3 in Barryville in 1972.

Irwin Zaretsky and his wife Dale: He was a unit director in Narrowsburg, I think, when I was a PA would have been 1975.

Charlie Shane (Shayne): He was the head guy on my western trip in summer of 1967 when I was a participant (camper) and he was also in Narrowsburg when I was there in 1975. He was living in Binghamton, NY when I was at the university there and I saw him around town from time to time in the mid 70's.

In 1974 I was a counselor in Silverlake for the school camping program and also was a counselor on a western trip (don't remember which one) where I remember a romance between Mona and Doug?

In 1975 I was a PA in Narrowsburg and also on a western trip (don't remember which one) I think fellow counselors where Andy and Joe Bleshman and Hirsch was the head guy.

Wow! We had so much fun with so little. Amazing times!

Irwin was my Western Trip Director in 1970 and the very last I heard of him, was that he was a teacher (retired?) in the Westchester area.
