photos of Wel-Met

If anyone has photos of Wel-Met, send them to the National Museum of American Jewish history in Philadelphia. A section of the exhibition space is devoted to camps and they are looking for contributions of material. The only Wel-Met photo the stock post card from the early 1960's. I don't remember bringing a camera to camp and can't find any photos. And go visit the NMAJH

I know most all of us were jewish, but was Wel-Met actually considered a "jewish" camp? There were kids and counselors who weren't jewish....they were few and far between I guess, but they were there. I can't recall anything religious about it. The food was certainly not kosher....

Ariane,

Most of the traffic that was formerly on this site has moved to the Wel Met Facebook page.
