I live in Parkway Village, Main St and Union Turnpike. The school you referred to was PS 164. Yesterday i went to a luncheon where, i believe Paul and Artie were Bar Mitzvaed.

John - Both you and Ann are familiar names but Peter is not. I grew up at 141-06 71st Ave and earlier at 137-59 70th Rd. I went on to Campbell JHS (218) and John Bowne HS Class of 1971.

i was a pioneer in '57. i was the baby sitter for lou levitt's kids in '58 and '59.
then i was clerical staff for a year or two. i don't know which year we knew each other but i can clearly picture your face. do you remember marco roberts. we've been in touch and have not been too successful locating old timers. let me know if you find others. gail roth hollander |

![]() Hi Gail, just happened to open the Wel-Met site and found your message. We were in NYC for one of our Music Trips for a very short time. We saw Carol and Steve for a brief dinner, right after they got home from Florida.
I hope you found some of your Wel-Met friends, we really haven't found folks we know from 61-64. Write if you get a chance. Hope all is well with you. My email is tinaoxer@msu.edu Fondly, Tina |

![]() Marty Guttman, this is Mark Rockman. We were bunkmates one of those years (Narrowsburg 1956 - 1961 for me, ??? for you).
Virtually no connection with Noo Yawk or that sortof stuff now, but I did look in on Wel-met at one point, and surfed over here today on my lunch break. Regards to you and to anyone else out there who's reading this. M J R . |

Sorry Mark.
This Marty Guttman was a counselor in 1967 and 1968 at Narrowsburg. Met my wife Judy there but alas was never a camper there. |

Really old campers
I'm "really old" (by some standards) and a Wel-Met camper.
I was a camper in Narrowsberg from about 1957 to 1961. I worked in Narrowsberg in 1968 - as a PA in Unit 3. Marty - where did you work that year?? Later worked in Barryville, Silver Lake, back in Narrowsberg, and was Trip Director for two Western Trips (1971 and 1973). Recently re-connected with a good friend who had been in my bunk when I was a camper in Unit 2! Wow. Wel-Met lives in our souls forever. |

Vicki Patraka, same era
Hello, Gail Karlitz,
I was a camper in Narrowsburg in the 1950s and early 1960. I was on the Western Trip #1 in 1963. But I started out in Unit 1. My name is Vicki Patraka. Your name sounds so familiar. Vicki Patrka |
